Supporter Submission Guidelines

We are always looking for new sites to support our search engine.

In return for promoting happy.org.uk on your site, we will include your site within our supporters directory on happy.org.uk. See Supporters Directory.

Double check the details entered before submitting as your listing cannot be amended once submitted.

It is essential that you adhere to all of the submission guidelines below, or your listing will be rejected.

• Do not use superlatives such 'best', 'cheapest', 'lowest' etc. in the title or description.
• Ensure the category and sub category you select are targeted to your website's content. For example, if your site relates to Film Making, place it in the 'Films' sub-category of 'Entertainment and Music'.
• Make the description meaningful. Do not just submit a list of keywords.
• In order to restrict our listings to sites that are more popular, the page our link is placed on must have a Google page rank of at least 3. We realise this may exclude some quality sites, but we have limited resources to review submitted sites and this is a simple way of ensuring that the majority of sites submitted are popular and of an acceptable quality.
• Your site must be complete with no areas 'under construction', and all links must be working.
• Your site must not contain pornography, pornographic or adult advertising, erotica or adult-only content, gratuitous or graphic violence, material that infringes on or violates someone's rights, or material that promotes/disseminates illegal activities.
• Your site must have its own domain name.
• Your site must be professional in appearance and provide the user with valuable information.

All submissions are subject to our editorial review. We reserve the right to reject any sites that do not adhere to the above guidelines.

When placing a link on your site to happy.org.uk, please use a text link using the following code, where KEYWORD is a term that relates to the subject matter of your site.
When you submit your site, simply tell us where you have placed a link to happy.org.uk on your site.

Our listing validation robot will regularly visit your site to verify that your link to happy.org.uk still exists. If it does not, your listing on happy.org.uk will be automatically removed until our listing on your site is reinstated.

Once you have submitted your site using the form below, you have 3 days to ensure that your link to happy.org.uk is displayed on your site. We will send you an email confirming your submission.
